ASTIGMATISM

The basis for creating the font was the visual effect, in which street lights, car headlights and illuminated signage are perceived as rays, glare and star shapes. This distortion of light occurs with astigmatism (a feature of vision associated with the irregular shape of the cornea or lens of the eye). The characteristic plasticity of these lighting effects has been reinterpreted and formed the basis for the graphics and character of the font.
